Lunch Volunteers

BECOME A LUNCH YARD DUTY VOLUNTEER**!

Joining the lunch yard duty team is one of the best ways to get to know our

school and student body. You can volunteer one or more days per week. We

need help in the kindergarten yard, the primary and upper grade playgrounds,

and at the lunch tables.

 

Job Descriptions:

Kindergarten lunch duty**

Duties include lunch table and playground supervision and safety. Supervise

kindergarteners while eating lunch and assist with opening food containers.

Direct children away from rough play. Assess first aid situations and send to

office as needed. Encourage cooperative play and proper use of equipment.

Primary (grades 1-2) and upper (grades 3-5) yard lunch duty**

Duties include lunch table and playground supervision. Direct children away

**A current TB test and official proof of COVID-19 vaccination, along with completion for the current year's Volunteer Application, is currently required to be considered for all volunteers. GO To our Volunteers page.
