In an effort to save valuable resources, including money and the number of flyers that go home in Thursday Envelopes, the Laurelwood PTA will be relying on email communication with the school community.  Please register on Laurelwood's PTA website: GO TO Laurelwood PTA and then sign-up to be on the PTA email communication list in order to receive important school updates from Laurelwood's PTA.  Be sure to check the website often for the up-to-date information about events, as well as how-to get involved.  

If you haven’t joined PTA for the school year,  we encourage all parents and students to join. We would love for each family member to have their own membership!   Join via our website: GO TO Laurelwood PTA 

You can also:

• Send cash or check for the membership payment to your child’s teacher.
• Drop payment off at the school office.
• Stop by the membership table on the night of the membership drive event (usually held during the annual Ice Cream Social).

Payment prior to the ice cream social is strongly recommended but not required. 

Why Join PTA?

• You show your children that school matters and that you are invested in their success at Laurelwood Elementary school and beyond.
• You partner with the principal, vice-principal, teachers and staff to make campus safe, welcoming, enriching, and a fun place to be.
• You help make sure parents and family members have a voice when important decisions that affect our school are made (by who? the district? the state?)
