Open Enrollment for 2019-2020

The OPEN ENROLLMENT period for the 2019-2020 school year is From 9am on January 9, 2019, through 4pm on February 6, 2019. Starting this year, Open Enrollment applications are completed/submitted ONLINE.

WHAT IS OPEN ENROLLMENT? The Santa Clara Unified Board of Trustees has established a policy of limited Open Enrollment. Although some of our schools are already at capacity, this policy allows parents who reside within the boundaries of the district to request enrollment of their children at "any District school which may have space available for additional students."

WHO NEEDS TO DO THIS? Current Laurelwood students who do NOT wish to apply for Open Enrollment for a different school do NOT need to take any action at this time. Registration for the 2019-2020 school year will occur automatically. Only those who wish to attend a SCUSD school other than their assigned SCUSD “School of Residence” need to complete the Open Enrollment application process.

HOW and WHERE DO I GO TO APPLY FOR OPEN ENROLLMENT

Do NOT follow any of the steps for Registration/Open Enrollment that are listed below. Open Enrollment applications for 2019-2020 close at 4:30pm on February 6, 2019.
