Kristen Moriarty, EdD
Welcome to our class page. I am excited to share this year with your family. I began my teaching career in 1990 as a Peace Corps Volunteer, serving in Tunisia and Romania until 1993. I have been fortunate to teach first, second, third, fourth and fifth grades! I worked in special education for many years and was an elementary principal for three years. My career has taken me to Washington, DC, California, Ethiopia and Japan, in addition to Tunisia and Romania. I have earned two masters degrees and my doctorate over the years. I believe in being a life-long learner and look forward to igniting a love of learning in your child this year.
