Laurelwood Parents,

Your school needs you to complete this online survey (California School Parent Survey, 2016-2017) to learn more about your opinions about it. This survey is an opportunity to communicate your perceptions about your child’s school. The attached letter explains the survey and, at the bottom of the page, provides your login, password and access instructions.

The 21st Annual Nutcracker performances were spectacular, 'If I do say so myself"!  It was an absolute joy to see the children perform at their very best and, for many, to discover new talents that they didn't know they had!

Please consider purchasing the Nutcracker DVD if you haven't already. It is a very good quality recording and a great keepsake for your children. The goal is to offer it at the lowest cost possible. Laurelwood does not make any profit from the sale of the DVDs, the cost covers time and expenses only to the videographer. The DVD order form is attached. You can also find the DVD Order Form on our school website: http://le-scusd-ca.sc hoolloop.com/nut. Please place your orders directly with the videographer either by check in the mail or through PayPal following the instructions on the form. www.videomagician.com It takes about 8-10 weeks for the DVD's to be returned to the school.

Our annual Multicultural Festival is almost here! Time for us to share our amazing cultures with each other.  We are organizing a Multicultural performance program. We would love for any student of any background to come and participate. Our program is organized by grade level and country. This is a great opportunity to learn about another culture. No auditions, just come to rehearsals. Space is limited to those who can commit to attending rehearsals. Rehearsals for some will begin the week of March 20th.
