After School Coding Clubs

The Laurelwood After School Coding Clubs are a free after school coding program for 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade students, that increases student access and exposure to computer science (CS) education. All clubs are run by Laurelwood Credentialed Teachers. and technology will be provided by Laurelwood Staff. 


The fall session will run the beginning of October to the beginning of December and have a focus of introducing coding to BEGINNING LEVEL students. Students will participate in 8 one hour session.The two spring sessions, February to April and April to June will have oppurtunities for students to work on more advanced coding and Robotics.

Registration Information

Fall sessions are closed for registration. Look back in December/January to sign up for the Winter Session.

5th Grade Flag Football

Congratulations to the students who were accepted on the 5th Grade Flag Football Team. Every fall, the Laurelwood Football practices being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible on the football field, as students learn how to play the game of football and compete against other elementary schools in the district.

*Game times are tentatively set for 3pm, but will start when both schools have arrived to the game field and warmed up.
